WHY SPRING?
Over 20 years experience working with some of the brightest minds, creating solutions that can change the lives of people in profound ways is the source of my passion. A passion to innovate, a passion to design in the pursuit of perfection for user and manufacturer alike.
I founded Spring ID, as a small innovation and design firm to leverage my experience in the Medical Device industry and help companies drive innovation. Forging relationships with other complimentary firms to have a larger presence in medical device development, I can take your concept from the earliest napkin sketch to full production ready design and even help you find partners for manufacturing. No project is too small or too large, from brainstorming, concept generation, presentation renderings, surface models to completely engineered product solutions. Timothy Wells - Founder
Mr. Wells has over 20 years of innovative product development experience, 18 of those years designing minimally invasive and laparoscopic devices, capital equipment and mechatronic systems. For 12 years he served as manager of Industrial Design for Covidien Surgical Devices, where he was instrumental in the adoption of Industrial Design and Human Factors principles into the product development process, created and managed the brand identity for the products, and utilized the latest in design and rapid prototyping technologies. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Wells currently holds 28 patents in the Medical Device Industry.
